our first snow of the season around October the 10th in the mountain town of Victor on the southwest side of Pikes Peak, Colorado. Victor is part of the Victor / Cripple Creek gold mining district. It's about 9600 feet (2900 meters) above sea level.

It's owned by a loving man, a community benefactor named Richard Skorman. It's a lovely bohemian place full of youthful energy. It's within a short walking distance from Colorado College, a historic liberal arts college founded in 1873.
