So pretty...these fallen leaves in shades of pink, magenta...mauve and yellow with the concentric fungi beneath...nature at it's most complex and yet so much beauty! At first glance those fungi look like tibetan thangka clouds...as they are painted in the thangkas:)...That quote is profound for it's seemingly simple message yet so difficult to achieve. It reminds me of the 3 marks of existence in Buddhism...where the state of "impermanence is the only constant". Man craves permanence is every aspect of life..which leads to the 2nd mark which is "Suffering"...through which he evolves to become more compassionate and finally arrives at the 3rd mark which is a state of "egolessness"...which is the true self devoid of "pride".
