What a colorful covered bridge! It looks like it has planters on the side. I never saw a covered bridge with planters before!

Yes, those planters are real. This is an honest-to-goodness shot, NOT computer-generated. As of a few months ago, this covered bridge was still there when I was in Nederland, Colorado. I hope you get a chance to come by our neck of the woods and see this bridge and much more. Colorado is incredibly beautiful. No wonder it's been nicknamed THE SWITZERLAND OF AMERICA.
