A beautiful image celebrating why nature is essential! f l
Bijan Pirnia replied:
It has been wisely said that nature is NOT just a place a visit. It is home. I agree whole-heartedly. Not only is nature beautiful, it's also our sustenance. I'm sure you understand. I thank you, lady sweetest, for all your kind words and comments. They really mean a lot to me, especially when they come from a highly accomplished artist such as you. I so appreciate you, dear.

Gorgeous....Colorado is beautiful. Love this shot! l/f
Bijan Pirnia replied:
Sweet Fiona, you're correct. Colorado is truly an incredible place : 54 mountains higher than 14000 feet and more than 750 summits higher than 13000 feet. It is a land of unsurpassed beauty, wonder and drama. With a land area of about 104000 square miles, Colorado is the 8the largest state in the U.S. That makes Colorado 6 times the size of Switzerland and more than double the size of Greece which is about 50000 sq. mi.
