the annual ice-sculpting festival in the mountain town of Cripple Creek, Teller County, Colorado. The ice is real; but I created the background in photoshop to eliminate the clutter and distraction such as fence, street signs, shop window, etc. The myriads of colors you see come from the street lights and the lights placed on the ground behind the statues.
