I cannot help but admire the purity of your capture, Bijan, and your colouration so right. Also, lovely to read about your encounter with Tom Gessner, there, in the middle of the world reallllllly, such is the distance between us. Compliments, vf.........VIVA
Bijan Pirnia replied:
Beautiful Viva, At time, I grab some of my nature shots, take them to Garden of the Gods or some other popular tourist attractions and give them away to out-of-town tourists. I love to put a smile on their faces. Such was my encounter with this lovely German couple. They were so sweet, so appreciative of the "visual reminders" I gave them. I hope they'll keep in touch.
Tom Gessner
Believe it or not, but my wife and I got the chance to meet this great photographer directly at work - in the Garden of the Gods. Having a good time and talking about our passion, we got lucky to get some really nice and wonderful visual reminders. Unfortunately, the weather next day wasn't as good as expected, so we have to stick with the visual reminders so far. Thank you very much for all your advice, Bijan!
Bijan Pirnia replied:
Tom buddy, kind sir. so sweet to hear from you my man. What a delicious surprise ! Please keep in touch. Tell your lovely lady I said, "vie geht es ihnen mine dame." I probably misspelled all that. I just thought I'd show off a couple of German words I know.
Joy McAdams

Bijan, this is an extraordinary image; I love your mention of the 1200-year-old juniper, which puts many things in perspective. The colors of this photographic masterpiece are unforgettable; the covering of snow is divine. I read your personal statement in your site and love all that you wrote. Your work is a remarkable artistic expression of your purpose, and I look forward to appreciating your work for a long time to come. l/f
Bijan Pirnia replied:
Sweet Elizabeth, I'm grateful beyond measure that you write with such palpable, tangible kindness and honesty. What an honor to know you.
Gabriella Weninger - David
What a WONDERFUL winter scene and so fantastic capture Bijan!
Bijan Pirnia replied:
Thank you dear. We're expecting more snow in Colorado high country this coming Sunday, May the 10th 2015. It's so beautiful to see tulips, daffodils, and irises stick out from a few inches of snow.
Craig Corwin
Love the diversity of this photo. Striking colors, varied textures, shapes, even temperature variations. Well done.
Bijan Pirnia replied:
Mr. Craig, kind sir, great to hear from you again. If you ever happen to be in our neck of the woods, please let me know. It would be an honor to say hello to you in person and shake your hand. Take care, my man.
