Indeed different climates it is. The Pikes Peak region varies in elevation from about 4000 to 14000 feet. Because of this huge range we almost never have a dull moment. It is no exaggeration to say that we could easily have a blizzard in one part of the region and sunny weather in another part simultaneously.
