Reaching the clouds at 14115 feet (4302 meters) above sea level, Pikes Peak is the most visited 14000-foot mountain in the world. It's named after lieutenant Zebulon Montgomery Pike, an American army officer and explorer who became the first person of the European descent to see the mountain in 1806.
